Eastern Garter Snake We Found Outside.

The common garter snake (Thamnophis sirtalis) is a snake indigenous to North America. Most garter snakes have a pattern of yellow stripes on a brown background and their average length is about 1 metre (3.3 ft) to 1.5 metres (4.9 ft).

This one had a bit of "orange" to it, like none I have ever seen around here.

looks like the ones i find when i go to pennsylvania. garters always crap on you when you find them. is that what is on your hand in the last pic?
